Apple has finally released 4.2 for most of the iOS devies. So the iPad now has all the multitasking you can wish for or can fit in your 256mb of Ram that the iPad packs. Lots of other extra tweeks been added so in all I can see no reason to not hook up and update. If you are a jailbreaker the guys over at the Dev Team have already got a solution although this is not as simple as Jailbreak.com
